JCC Festa (Be a light for...)

6 members of HFH Sophia went to Shizuoka for the annual JCC Festa. This was a wonderful opportunity for every member to actually meet other HFH members from all over Japan. With this year's theme being "be a light for..." we separated into groups and did ice breaking activities to get know each other and more importantly, got to know our "light" through the interaction.

Due to the traffic, our bus arrived an hour late, forcing us to skip introductions and jump straight into a group. "It was awkward at first, for everyone in my group was on their phone during breaks, but once I started talking about my ideas about Habitat everyone joined the conversation and by the end of the day, we exchanged Line contacts!" -big accomplishment for Masa

最初は気まずかったけど、後々みんな打ち解けて最後はお別れが惜しかった。

After saying goodbye to our newly made friends, we went to Gotemba outlet and enjoyed shopping until our bus came to pick us up.

御殿場最高。でもお金なかったから全然買い物できなかった
